Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your driver-guide will meet and greet you at the Kigali International Airport. Your driver-guide may suggest a tour of Kigali city, which includes the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi, based on your arrival time. Get to your Volcanoes National Park resort in time for dinner and a restful night.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Following breakfast, you will go to the Park’s headquarters, where your driver-guide will take care of all the paperwork. After meeting your ranger guide(s), you will receive a briefing regarding the most amazing animal encounter ever! On your Rwandan gorilla trekking excursion, you will first be assigned to a gorilla troop before heading into the jungle. There is a driver-guide waiting for you. Following the hike, have lunch at Ruhengeri, and then spend the afternoon lounging and taking in the beauties of the park.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking
You will head to the headquarters for a visit with the golden monkeys (Cercopithecus mitis kandti) after breakfast. going to see the golden monkeys. A village tour to the iby’Iwacu communal village takes place in the afternoon. This living museum, which is situated close outside the national park, showcases various facets of traditional Rwandan society. Thunderous drumming, exuberant dancing, and the warm welcome that has characterised Rwandan society for decades are what visitors may anticipate. The village offers interactive experiences pertaining to the customs and lifestyles of the former Rwandan kingdom.

Day 4: Hiking Mount Bisoke – Return to Kigali.
The Bisoke walk is scheduled for one day and begins early in the morning. You will be escorted to the summit of the volcano by a park ranger. At 3.711 metres, the Bisoke stands as the fourth tallest mountain in the Virunga range and features a stunning lake at its summit. The largest lake in the Virunga chain is the Crater Lake. You may take in the stunning views of Crater Lake and the other virunga volcanoes on a clear day. Exhilarating ascent, lushly forested hills, shaded bamboo forest, and fantastic vistas in all directions! After your adventure, make your overnight transfer to Kigali.

Day 5: Kigali City Tour – Departure
Depending on when you leave and if you were unable to do so on the first day, you will be picked up at your hotel and taken on a tour of Kigali’s city, which will include a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre in Gizozi. Make your way to the airport so you can fly out.
